๐ Mrs. Joyce Lendt has accepted a one-year call to serve as our 1st Grade teacher at the Bloomington campus. Mrs. Lendt brings 43 years of lower grade teaching experience at our WELS schools in Racine, WI, and Nicollet, MN. Mrs. Lendt lives in Eden Prairie with her husband Randy, an engineer. She substitute taught for us last year and also enjoys mentoring younger teachers through our synod’s New Teacher Induction program.
๐ Mrs. Jaime Danner has accepted a one-year part-time call to teach Reading/Spelling to our 7th and 8th graders. Mrs. Danner brings 10+ years of experience serving as a classroom teacher, aide, piano instructor, coach, and secretary from her time in Colorado and Nebraska.
๐ Mrs. Laura Cook is entering her first year of teaching 3rd Grade at our Bloomington campus. The Cook family recently relocated to the Twin Cities from Illinois. Mrs. Cook’s husband Kendall serves as a pastor at NorthCross Lutheran Church in Lakeville. The Cooks have four children ranging from 5th Grade to 4K preschool.
๐ Mrs. Susan Van Houten accepted our call to move to a full-time teaching position after teaching part-time in the mornings last year. She will serve as one of our 6th Grade homeroom teachers. Mrs. Van Houten will teach 5th Grade Religion, 5th Grade English, and 6th Grade English. She previously taught at WELS schools in Burnsville and Belle Plaine.
