For many years, the Living Hope Garage Sale has been a tremendous blessing to our church, school, and community. None of it would have been possible without the countless hours, hard work, and dedication of volunteers like you. Whether you helped collect donations, sort items, price merchandise, work during the sale, or clean up afterward, your efforts made a lasting impact. We are incredibly grateful.
After much discussion and prayer, we have made the difficult decision not to hold the Living Hope Garage Sale this year. This was not an easy decision, as the garage sale has been a beloved tradition for many of us.
Instead, we are excited to announce that Hope Renewed Thrift Store will be hosting a Super Summer Sale during the same week:
Wednesday, July 8 | 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday, July 9 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday, July 10 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our goal is to create a community event that captures the same spirit of the garage sale while introducing even more people to Hope Renewed and the mission we support.
We need your help!
In fact, we need help starting NOW 🙂 as we prepare for this large event. We are currently looking for volunteers to help:
• Price merchandise
• Sort and set aside items for the sale
During the sale itself, we are hoping to have approximately 20 volunteers serving throughout the store, in the outdoor tent sale area, and in the donation receiving area.
Our Sale will include:
• An outdoor tent sale with clothes, shoes, and accessories
• 50% off inside entire store
• Baked goods sold by the 8th grade class
• Cold treats sold by our kids
• $5 Bag Sale on Friday in the tent area
Our prayer is that this event will not only be a memorable experience for our community, but also a blessing to families who may need affordable clothing and household items.
If you have volunteered at the garage sale in the past, we would love to have you join us again. Your experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve are needed now more than ever.
Please consider helping us make the Super Summer Sale a success! 🙂
Thank you again for all you have done over the years and for continuing to support this ministry. It has been a privilege to get to know you all and you have blessed us more than words could ever express.
